Cancer treatment for Chandra Badana Rai.

Hi everyone. This is my mom, Chandra. She is my rock; to me, she is my god.....my everything. My mamu is what I hope to become as a woman...as a person. She goes through life like a warrior - raising her three kids, seeing them through school, finishing her college degree, and representing Nepal through her one true passion, Volleyball. My mother always seemed so strong, unshakable, like a tall strong mountain. Her way of life seems so beautiful (I truly think she is the life of any party). She is always cracking jokes and she is always there for everyone in any way she can be. She truly sets a standard on what a woman can achieve with her sheer determination. It broke my heart when we got the news of her cancer recurrence. She fought so bravely the first time around (ovarian cancer). With help we got from friends and family, and even strangers she survived the cancer. During her first battle, laughing through the pain of surgery and chemo, she said, "I am so happy and lucky to have so many people helping me. It looks like earned a lot of people's love."

For her next battle, my family and I want to be strong for her. Mamu can only do so much. The cost of surgery in India is something out of reach for us. Unfortunately, Nepal lacks the science and technology for her treatment. I sincerely implore you to join our cause and support our GoFundMe campaign.
