Thérèse shared an update on her health this week on Facebook: over the last five years with an incredibly rare cancer, she's undergone radiation, 6 surgeries, 3 rounds of chemo and extensive complementary modalities. She has just recently had to give up her work with toLabor after months of teaching in intense pain.
With the new year comes a new insurance deductible, potential treatments out of the country, and a move to a new house to accommodate changes in mobility and make room for her kids to move in and help. Although her children have been taking care of her and supporting her financially, the expenses of her treatment and care in the coming weeks and months outstrip their resources. They need our financial help and support to care for this incredible woman who means so much to them and to us.
