Hello, my Name is Dorina and I am fundraising for my husband Jan. Jan and I moved to Southern California during the pandemic to be closer to his family but that did not work out as we thought it would. after living here for 2 1/2 years Jan was diagnosed in April of this year with stage 4 esophageal cancer and it had spread to other organs. After 9 month of fighting with chemo, radiation and meds, he is on hospice now. I am lovingly taking care of everything Jan needs at this stage but we are very isolated with no support here in southern California. So we decided that we need to go where our hearts are home, which is Moab, Utah. We both lived there for 35 + years, that is where we fell in love, got married and where all of our friends and other parts of our family is. I found a place to rent and signed the lease. We would like to go home before it is too late. We asking for funds to move and pay for some medical bills.
