Cancer immunotherapy holistic therapy for mike Jaff boardman

Hi its Charlie here starting this fundraiser in order to help pay for on going treatments. Also to fulfil the wishes of one of the funniest sweetest bravest people I know .Many of you may have your own moments and experiences of mike aka Jaffa .As he has achieved many things in life including world championships titles in taekwondo. Being chosen as an advocate of the sport at the Olympic demonstration. Appearing in masters of combat on the BBC.. Appearing on mtvs teen mums uk for many years with his beloved daughter and granddaughter Mia and Marliya Rose. Which has shown the highs and lows of life .Mike wanted to show the world that not only is hard to bring up a child as single mother but also deal with her fathers illness it was brave of both mia and mike to be open during the most difficult challenge of their life's, Along side a camera crew .WIth your generous donations Jaffa .mike Mias dad .however you know him or even if you don't but can empathise can look to fund on going treatment and fulfil some dreams .Along side day to day life and on going treatment. Jaffa is a remarkable person with a great strength and determination. Mike had very harsh start in life but turnt that into a positive and will to survive and succeed. It was 2020 when Jaffa was diagnosed not only was it deverstating it was at a time when the world was in lockdown you couldn't get the worst disease at the worse time isolation and emotions for you and your loved ones are incomprehensible.During this time Jaffa went through 60 hours plus of chemotherapy and radiotherapy fought covid .Jaffa was also given immunotherapy which in the uk is given for 2yrs due to funding this treatment was a great positive in his treatment. Which held his cancer at bay .Understandably it takes it toll on the emotional and mental health and loved ones .The strength and humour and kindness he personally has shown not only me but others in his life since in was in care is unfathomable. Back in February Jaffa underwent more surgery on his neck with incredible bravery .Unfortunately here we are in September and the cancer is still in Mike's neck and is thought to be in operable.All through this time the staff of Southampton general hospital have been a great support. Mike is now facing more chemotherapy and radiotherapy funding is no longer available on the NHS for immunotherapy at a cost of 6.000 pound every 3wks .This is a life prolonging treatment of this godforsaken disease that won't let go of him .So why should we let's fight like the fighter he is to contain and fight this ..with your donations and kindness we can hopefully fund more treatment of immunotherapy and fulfil some dreams and goals like skydiving and visiting the northern lights amid all this chaos find some solace and comfort in being alive .Any donations small or large will make a big difference in backing a true champion to keep fighting
