Cancer Patient Needs Help

My sister Suzanne was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Her mastectomy surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Family and friends are all surrounding her with love, prayers, and positive thoughts.
I’m pretty certain that we all know at least one friend or family member that has gone through the emotional stress of being diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. Suzanne is also experiencing financial challenges. She has been on state and federal disability with a fixed income for many years and is needing additional financial support during this time of her surgery and recovery. Her monthly living expenses...rent, food, health insurance, and car expenses have been rising steadily, while her government payments aren’t rising to keep up with with the rising costs. Her 1994 car is on its last legs. She really needs to get another used car and cannot afford one.
As her brother I’d love to see Suzanne’s financial stress minimized. I think it would benefit her recovery immensely.
Suzanne’s a beautiful being with a huge heart. Currently, and for over 10 years, she volunteers at Special Olympics helping athletes. She’s also volunteered at Sunnyvale library and works the voting booths during election time. She’s a champ!
Please give what feels comfortable to you to help make her life a bit easier post-cancer surgery.
