In 2024, my life changed when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I went through two surgeries to remove the cancer and completed radiation. While I’m thankful to be moving forward, the financial impact has been devastating. Even after insurance, I’m left with over $10,000 in medical bills.

I’m a Library Media Teacher, and more importantly, a mom of three wonderful kids. I lost my own mom when I was young, and that loss has shaped so much of who I am. My biggest hope is to be here for my children as they grow up — to guide them, cheer for them, and give them the love and presence I missed out on.

Right now, I’m working two jobs to try to keep up, but with three kids, it feels like I’m always just treading water. Asking for help isn’t easy, but I know I can’t do this alone. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward medical bills so I can focus on being there for my kids and my students instead of drowning in debt.
