Hello everyone, first of all, I just want to thank everyone for taking the time to hear my story.

I'm starting this GoFundMe to try to help my mom to the best of my ability. My single-parent mother has been going through a lot this year with losing her job and then her home. Now, my mom could have lost her son. On October 14th, 2025, at 3:50 am, my mom received a phone call. A parent's worst nightmare: my brother was in a head-on collision with a truck. As my mom and I dashed out of the house, rushing to my brother, the scene of the incident was a nightmare. They rushed him to the hospital where he was unresponsive. After waiting, we found out he needed surgery for a broken femur (waist down), five staples in his head, and stitches from his lip to his chin. My mom is already struggling enough trying to provide for 6 kids and manage her health issues but also trying to manage my brother, Troy, a two-time cancer survivor, with no job and now no car. Anything helps to jump-start my brother's long road to recovery and medical expenses.

This is just a glimpse of what lies ahead in Troys long road to healing. He faces a prolonging battle , additional surgeries, and extensive rehabilitation to relearn his walking functions. Many of us take for granted: how to move, walk, and regain independence. The financial burden is heart aching. With no transportation , no income during this time, and mounting medical bills, My brother has been left with expenses that go far beyond what any one person could ever manage.
