Cancer Support for Holly, Keith, and their Family

Donation protected
For those of you who personally know my sister  Holly Cannone and her husband Keith Cannone,  you have experienced the kindness, love and generosity that they pour into everyone they come to meet. They truly leave a lasting impression on our hearts. We have witnessed them give so graciously with both time and resources. They model what it means to be compassionate, thoughtful and loving people in this world.

And so now in their time of need, we, there loved ones, friends and family have the opportunity to come alongside them and give them that same love.

Friends, Holly has was  diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer a few months ago. As you can imagine, this diagnosis came as a shock. There have been hard days and good days, with more of each to come.

Holly has been so incredibly positive during this time, standing firm in her faith in God for complete healing. When she was diagnosed, her oncologist told her, her disease was "bulky" so treatments would begin with twelve rounds  (six months) of the strongest chemotherapy for her type of cancer because she is young and in otherwise good health; with the ultimate goal of getting them small enough in order to have surgery to remove them. He said 70% of patients see a reduction in tumor size of 30-40% after twelve treatments.

Well glory to God, only after having 5 treatments, not only is the original tumor in her colon undetectable on her last mri!!, the six tumors in her liver have shrunk by 90%!!!!!!!!!!

She is set to meet with a liver surgeon for a consultation on June 17th, with the goal of future surgery to remove the tumors which we are all believing will be operable.

So right now, Keith and Holly need us to love them through this journey. Lets come together, roll up our sleeves, use our intuition and do what feels right. We know that we can help ease their burden as they navigate through this challenging time in their lives.

We are asking for prayers of healing. Please pray with us daily. Holly receives bi weekly chemotherapy treatments which last seven hours and then she comes home with an iv and receives the last one over the course of 46 hours. Side effects have been severe nausea, upset stomach, neuropathy in the hands and mouth, loss of appetite, loss of taste, skin rash and severe dry skin. Despite this, Holly says it's not as bad as she anticipated and is back to her normal self after about six days. She is one strong momma!

I know that many of us live far away, but distance doesn't have to mean distant; we can still help. As we all know, cancer treatments can strain family finances.

We have set up a GoFundMe for the Cannone family.  If it’s on your heart to help give financially to Keith and Holly, you can do that here.

Letters, cards and packages can be mailed to: 1445 Bruce Ave, Glendale CA 91202

She would love to hear from you!

Holly and Keith thank you from the bottom of their hearts and are grateful for the overwhelming love and support.

With Great Love & Appreciation,
