I am a young vet and work with  my  husband Travis at a tiny practice in Midcoast Maine.  We have been married for 9 years and have 3 beautiful children through fertility treatments with our 4th miracle baby on the way.  2 weeks ago my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer. He had his first surgery yesterday.  I am now 8 months pregnant, figuring out how to support our young family of 5- soon to be 6, while preparing for maternity leave, and his second surgery which is scheduled for 2 weeks before our baby is due.  My husband and I have opposite schedules to avoid childcare and now I’m in a pickle of figuring out how to care for him and the rest of my little family while still working, and soon to be out on a 6 week unpaid maternity leave.  I would be grateful for any support.
