Cancer Sucks-Help Hannah

My name is Andrea and I meant Hannah in 2015. She’s been a bonus kid for me ever since. Over the years she has gone through more than any young person should. In 2018 she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She had surgery to remove her thyroid and radiation therapy and was doing better. But this past fall her cancer markers were elevated again and she was told the cancer was back. Or more likely, it never went away.

The cancer has returned and is in the lymph nodes on her right side. This week she traveled to MD Anderson in Houston to see the surgeon there. They decided that surgery would be best for her and it’s scheduled for July 14.

Now this is where she needs our help. Between the surgery and recovery she will be off work for about three weeks. Combine that with the cost of a hotel and travel to Houston, she could use some financial assistance. I estimated it will be about $3,000 needed for her to be able to stay at the hotel, and travel to and from Houston. Plus the time lost for work. I am setting this up for $3500 to cover the fees that GoFundMe charges. If you can help, I know she would appreciate it (even though she’s never ask for help).

This kid could use a break from worrying about what’s going to happen and how she’s going to pay bills. Thankfully she has good insurance.
