Hi! My name is Annabelle, I'm Susie's daughter but you probably already know that. Mommy's cancer diagnosis hit us like a freight train. NOT something we were ready for or expecting but I suppose you never ARE ready, are you?
She's been diagnosed with Lymphoma. While they've done the tests and biopsies to find out what kind of lymphoma it is, we haven't received those results yet.
We are starting this Go Fund Me for a few different purposes:
- While they have insurance, it will be tremendously helpful to get support with the medical costs that they've incurred so far!
- Mommy is going to have a total of 6 rounds of chemo, these will be in the hospital and she will go home only after the 5 days of treatment. The time she isn't in the hospital is when we need to make sure she has care when she is at home and daddy is at work. This campaign will help with the travel expenses of helping whoever is arranged to support her (flight, Airbnb if necessary, etc.)
- Paul (my husband) had several people recommend a ColdCap for hair loss prevention. The nurses here have amazing success stories they've shared as well. While it is possible it will not work, it is something Mommy would really like to try. If you know her, you know she's struggled with hair loss and hair growth for over 20 years. Her hair grows about a quarter of an inch per year, so if there is a chance she can keep her hair she'd like to.
- Food!- Gosh, cooking is exhausting! This Go Fund Me will help with food for Mommy and Daddy so they can focus on rest and being together! Less cooking and cleaning!

Please resist the urge to send lots of texts to her and daddy because they're SO obsessed with trying to be good about responding, it is keeping mommy from much-needed rest, and keeping daddy from just being present with her! I promise to keep the page updated! I'm fiercely trying to protect their mental, emotional and physical health as much as I can... and I appreciate your support in that! Mommy is so lucky to have so many people who care about her and love her so much!
