Cancer Sucks! Support for Mike Bartlett

Hello friends,

We started this fund raiser to help some of the nicest people we know, Mike and Angie Bartlett. It started with an ear ache in September 2020, Mike was diagnosed with Squamous cell carcinoma of the tonsil. His tonsil cancer was inoperable, the tumor was the size of a lime that invaded his carotid artery, jaw muscle, soft palette and one lymph node. Mike under went 33 rounds of radiation and 6 Chemo. He made it through with a smile and the best attitude someone facing this could have. Sadly, fast forward to June 2021. Mike had his routine scans and the devastating news....it has returned. This time, the cancer has moved into both lungs. On July 7th, the surgeon successfully surgically removed a golf ball sized tumor from one lung but the other lung is inoperable, so back to Chemo and radiation.

Due to the necessary treatments, Mike has been unable work since September 2020. The Bartlett family would like nothing more than to get back to their regular life. Enjoying time with family and friends, pool time and getting out on the river.

The Bartlett’s have always been the family offering help to others, never expecting anything in return. Now they need us, both emotionally and financially.
