Hi my name is Jamie. I am hoping to raise money for my best friend, Madison Conte. She was diagnosed with thyroid cancer about a month ago. She went through surgery to remove the right side of her thyroid and the surgeon decided to take lymph nodes as well, due to the cancer spreading. She now needs to go through another procedure to remove the rest of her thyroid along with other lymph nodes if the cancer has continued to spread. Madison works full time and is pursuing a degree in kinesiology at Stephen F. Austin State University. She is an incredible soccer player and works to help others reach their fitness goals through weight lifting. The surgery she needs alone is $10,000 out of pocket, this not including cost of treatment or gas and living expenses.
