Our dad, James Robert VanAtta (aka. Baba, Jimmy, Jimbo, Jim, Hammertime and countless other nicknames) passed away from complications of Lymphoma and other cancers. He hit the cancer lottery when it came to the different kinds.

We are devastated that we won't be able to do all the many things he loved with him anymore. One of his favorite things to do was to be kind and help others. It seems appropriate that we honor him by donating to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on his behalf. Your donation will go directly to LL Society and you will receive a receipt.

Please join us in the fight against cancer, that we feel steals our loved ones much too quickly, and use that for good for someone else. Any amount is welcome.

**After attending ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) this weekend, it was very difficult, but what my dad would want. I hope that I did something this weekend that helped someone else.

Many have asked what you can do to help us kids. We have no idea. Because we are so unprepared, perhaps help someone else today in his honor. Whether it's through a donation to cancer research or helping someone change a tire, making dinner or just maing someone laugh.**
