Cancer Sucks: In Memory of Andrew Allan

Life can really throw you curve balls, and that is why I am reaching out for help on behalf of my brother-in-law Andrew and my little sister Katelyn. Andrew was diagnosed with Melanoma 2 years ago. Since then, it has been a whirlwind of doctors appointments, imaging appointments, immunotherapy, and multiple surgeries. This spring Andrew was deemed cancer free, in remission and it was something to celebrate, a breath of fresh air. Soon after my little sister found out she was pregnant! It seemed as though life was looking up for those 2, soon to be 3. Unfortunately, today they were shocked by devastating news. Andrew's cancer has spread to his brain. Next week he will be starting aggressive treatment and will not be able to work. At this time we don't know how long he will be off work. Andrew owns and operates a small shed building company. Katelyn will soon be going on maternity leave. As you all know, the bills don't stop. I am hoping we can gather enough money so that Andrew and Katelyn have one less worry on their minds and can focus on Andrew’s battle with this brutal disease and their expected baby girl.
