Cancer sucks! Community is key, he needs US!

Not I, but He! It is by the grace of God that Chad is still with us here today and some may say a blessing in disguse that he was involived in a serious motor vehicle accident. On 4/4/25 he was driving on the interstate when the unthinkable would occur. We suspect he jad a seizure while driving which caused him to hit a gaurdrail which then bounced him back into traffic causing him to be struck by a semitruck who fled the sceen that impact caused him to be catapolted back into the gaurdrail.

Chad has sustained some serious injuries including a broken femer and compression fracture in his back. Being a trauma patient he underwent extensive workup while in the ED, to include bloodwork, xray, ct scan, ct angiogram....

He was taken to surgery to repair the femur on 4/5/25 and now has a new titianium rod. As for his back the fracture ia stable and did not require further intervention.

If your still with me, this is where things really took a turn... on his CT scan of his head there was a questionable mass. This promted him to get an MRI. This resulted in confirmation that is was an 8.3 x 5.5 x 4.8 left frontalparietal mass concerning for high grade glioma.

He underwent a surgery yet 4/7/25 again but this time on his brsin to obtain a biopsy of the mass for further evaluation. Up until this point Chad had been able to keep in good spirits but this procedure made him feel scared and nervous, "feeling this one is different". The surgery went well but now the waiting game begun and still is.

That evening the neurosurgeon did confirm it was a high grade glioma and the following day 4/8/25 he was met by a radiation oncologist and medical oncologist. We were told he would not be a surgical candidate and that final pathology is still pending but regardless would need 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy
