CANCER SUCKS BUT BEING WITHOUT YOU SUCKS MORE….
This comes with a sadden but mostly broken heart to say that my mom is in her last days of living. If you know my mom y’all know she’s out going and full of life, so this is hard to write. In 2022 she was diagnosed with stomach cancer and underwent surgery to remove the cancer, which caused more than half of her stomach to be removed. Over that period of time she went through chemo and radiation therapy to make sure the cancer cells were gone. In March 2023 we got good news of her scans and blood work showed cancer free cells. Throughout that year she’s had trouble eating due to her really not having a normal stomach which has brought us to this point. Now as of March 7th 2024 she was admitted into the hospital to have a procedure to relieve some blockage to help her process what she was trying to eat, as well as toxins building up in her gallbladder bile duct. This procedure was unsuccessful and caused internal bleeding which turned into her having several blood transfusion and we almost lost her. Over this past week we have received devastating news that the same stomach cancer cells have been detected in her pancreas and her colon. Her body has really deteriorated over this month’s stay at the hospital and she’s ready to come home to be with family and friends in her last days.
If you really know me I don’t like asking for help, but when I’m in desperate need I’ll swallow my pride and ask. Right now I’m asking for your help with lots of prayers, but most of all, any kind of donation. We are trying to prepare a part of the house for her to be able to come home to rest peacefully, and spend her last days with us. We truly weren’t prepared for this tragic news. We really don’t have the means, nor the time to come up with the funds to do this without a lot of help… Help from our huge loving family and friends… Again, any donation will help, and any type of love or support will get us to our goal of BRINGING OUR MOMMY HOME.
