Dear Friends and Family of Lisa,
You may or may not know this yet but our fun, amazing and loving friend Lisa was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Bone Cancer.
This devastating diagnosis comes shortly after a brave struggle with Breast Cancer where she was finally deemed cancer-free and went back to living her normal life. Yet recently things started to feel off so she went to get checked out. The doctors told her the cancer has re-emerged and metastasized to her vertebrae. As a result, she is unfortunately not only in a lot of physical pain, but also financial need, as she can no longer work because of this news.
Her doctors have prescribed both Chemotherapy and Radiation which is to begin immediately and we are starting this GoFundMe site so that all of us who love her can rally together to help in this very important and serious time of need.
Literally, anything you can contribute - even a few bucks - will help so much. Mainly Lisa could use these funds to subsidize the cost of the immediate treatment. In addition, she is currently staying with our good friend Javier, so could use the help to cover bills like the cost of her own small space so she can be comfortable during these extremely time-sensitive treatments.
Basically, the time to help is now.
