My name is Belen Gutierrez, I have two kids Bryan who is in high school and Kimberly who is in middle school and is also battling leukemia and I also have breast cancer. On Thursday July 10, 2025 I was driving when I had two seizures. I was sent to the hospital in an ambulance and from there I had an MRI taken which showed that I had a cancerous tumor on the left side of my brain. I’ve been in the hospital since then and have no steady income, but luckily I have my family which is a great support system. I don’t know for sure when I’ll be out of the hospital but what I do know is that once I’m out I have to be doing three types of therapy and unfortunately I have no insurance that will be able to cover the therapy’s and my medicine. Everything that is raised will be going to mine and my daughters medical journey, and also anything that my kids need school-wise. I’ve worked my whole life but ever since this happened I’m not sure when I’ll be able to start working again. I would appreciate it if you shared my journey with others and above all god bless you.
