Cancer Run for SBB

For the third time in 8 years, cancer has impacted someone close to me. This time, it is harder. I will not go into details, but I have been profoundly affected. It is the reason I am running a marathon. My goal is to raise money for cancer research. I am raising money in honor of SBB. The SBB stands for Stacey, Buddy and Bob. I am hoping my friends, family members and acquaintances will donate and help me meet my goal of $10,000.  I am hopeful that some of you will join Team SBB and run with me!!  This has a lot of meaning to me and actually has even more meaning now because I believe it is a God thing. I spoke with my friend Eric shortly after I decided to take on this challenge. His wife is Stacey. He asked when the marathon was and I told him November 3. He stuttered for a moment and told me that November 3 is the anniversary of their first date. I am now more committed than ever and hope that those of you on the fence make a firm commitment to join me.
