Cancer Research scientists and workers at the Institute of Cancer Research in London are currently on strike.
This is the first time in 117 years that we have gone on strike.
Pay levels have now gotten so bad that staff are struggling to afford the essentials of life (food, rent and heating), all while the CEO and key management personnel make massive amounts that increase every year.
We do the work to discover cancer drugs that end up in clinics and makes a real difference to patients. 50% of people will recieve a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime - this affects all of us.
You can help the scientists, administrative staff and facilities colleagues who work together side by side to achieve our mission of defeating cancer.
By making a donation to our strike fund, you can help us get back in to the lab and continue our vital mission while having respect and dignity in our work.
Let's beat cancer together.
