THE PERIMETER OF WALES IN SUPPORT OF CANCER RESEARCH UK & BLOOD CANCER UK

On Monday 6th May 2024, I shall begin my ride around the perimeter of Wales to raise much needed funds for both Cancer Research UK and Blood Cancer UK.

The ride will be approximately 1550km (965 miles) together with a total of 16170m (53055ft) of climbing. Although I will be joined by friends along the route, riding with me, or just waving me on in support, the ride itself will be totally unsupported. Hence, accommodation may just be a bus shelter for the night. I am hoping to complete the ride by 15th May 2024.

The two charities are funding vital projects and incredible research to help fight these cruel diseases, and are very close to the hearts of my family and friends, for many reasons.

Any sponsorship or donations will help these brilliant organisations who offer hope and support to families at the worst of times.

Cancer Research UK continues to help our friend Ruth Town in her ongoing battle with cancer, while Blood Cancer UK is a charity that I have supported since my friends lost their daughter Emma Mannix to Leukaemia.

This will be an incredibly tough challenge for me to complete but I will be spurred on by your support and hopefully, I shall do my bit towards helping to find a cure for Cancer.

Whatever you can give to support these charities can be donated through my ‘GoFundMe’ page. All monies raised shall be divided equally between the Charities. I am setting an ambitious target of £3000.00.
