Cancer research & help us make lasting memories
Donation protected
As many of you know I’ve been on a cancer journey for the last 18 months, it’s been pretty testing to say that least.
In feb 2023 I found out that the cancer I was being treated for late last year had not responded completely to treatment as as a result had spread within my body.
This is heartbreaking news as it means the cancer is no long curable and we move on to palliative (which means optimising quality of life) treatment. I’ve just started immunotherapy which has around a 20% success rate. Sadly the stats are not on my side and the length of future remains unclear the average is around 12-18 mths. But we remain hopeful and positive and if this treatment works, it can work for years.
As a family we are taking it day by day and I’m focused on making as many memories as I can with my darling boy, who is my world.
Please don’t send flowers or gifts but if you’d like to donate to this page so I can make some special memories with my family then we would be very grateful, 50% of donations will go to cancer research
xx
