Stage 4 Cancer and trying to survive, please help Gene!

Gene was diagnosed with advanced renal cell carcinoma in June 2021. Since then, he has undergone multiple major surgeries and faced numerous complications from treatments aimed at controlling his cancer. Throughout this challenging journey, he has shown remarkable strength and unwavering optimism, all while managing his real estate business and being a dedicated father to three exceptional children and a devoted husband. Despite enduring intense treatment, he has tirelessly supported his family and has never complained or asked for help. However, his diagnosis has led to a significant decline in income.

This June, Gene experienced stroke-like symptoms and impaired vision, which were traced back to a large tumor in his brain. The tumor was surgically removed in early July, followed by additional radiation and immunotherapy. To add to the family's challenges, their roof began leaking during Gene's recovery, and their hot water heater broke the same month.

Gene's primary goal is to help his son, Luke, complete his senior year, navigate upcoming scans, and eventually relocate to a more affordable home.

Anyone who knows Gene would describe him as one of the kindest and most helpful people you could ever meet. However, over these difficult years, he has faced many months of lost income, and this summer's events have created an overwhelming financial burden.
