I got very disturbing news today. My neice, Erika, received the diagnosis we all have been dreading. Natalie Humana Vargas, 2 years old has cancer. 

Erika had noticed brusing on different parts of little Natalie's body and there was no reasonable explanation for them. My neice took her baby girl to the ER and blood tests confirmed it was cancer. As any parent would do, Erika questioned the accuracy of the results and went for a second opinion. After going to the children's hospital in Chicago, her deepestfears were confirmed. 

As if receiving this news wasn't bad enough, Erika's has not been able to work since she has had to take Natalie to several appointments. While Natalie struggles with this awful diseases, Erika struggles to put food on the table and find medical treatments for this beautiful baby girl.
