- Hello. My name is Chantale. In 2020 I found a lump in my breast that turned out to be a stage 3 aggressive cancer. Since then I have done Chemotherapy, a drug trial, targeted treatments and hormone treatments. 2025 has found me in a fragile mental health situation. My journey to get reconstructive surgery had been long and unsuccessful. I live in the beautiful small town of Témiscaming. I am on the border of Ontario and that has been good and bad. Born and raised in north bay I was fortunate to have an oncologist in Sudbury and most of my treatments in north bay . Unfortunately being a border town is not great when fighting for your rights when it comes to surgeries. I have been referred repeatedly from one surgeon to another and all of them have refused me. It seams that once you no longer have an active cancer nobody cares. Falling through the cracks between provinces not wanting to pay is unacceptable. Please help me raise some funds so I can find a private plastic surgeon who will be happy to help to regain my confidence that I so strongly had. I made my very first TikTok yesterday and although scared I bravely posted it. Cancer patient in desperate need of help please help me get some help
