Cancer patient gets scammed

My name is Ashley Thompson and I am 40 years old. My cancer journey began five years ago when, at the age of 35, I was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer.

Currently, I am unable to work due to the cancer coming back and breaking my shoulder. I have recently spent almost a year straight in chemotherapy and just now coming off. I am attempting to rebuild my strength before returning to the classroom as a teacher.

Recently, I received a phone call from a Bank of America representative who informed me that my money was going to be used in an unauthorized purchase somewhere down south, and in order to stop it, I had to create a new bank account. I believed it was them because they were calling from an actual Bank of America phone number. The number is actually listed on Bank of America’s website. Once the new account was made, I checked my bank account and all of my money was gone in the amount of $14,000. Bank of America will not work with me to get my money back or point me in the direction of how I can fight this.

I’m simply looking for a little help to get me over the hurdle of fighting this so that I can afford my treatment and medications. Any amount would be amazing or if you can just share this, I would be grateful and highly appreciative.
