Please help a longtime friend & Forest Hills resident, who is in great need due to illness. He is also on disability, but the funds are not enough to remedy multiple challenges. Eddie Friedman recovered from cancer in his leg, but then cancer made a comeback. On top of that, he contracted Covid, and most recently had his car damaged, when a driver lost control of their vehicle. He does not take public transportation due to health concerns. As a result of Eddie’s medical expenses and being unemployed, he owes $3,700 in rent and may be evicted if he cannot pay it quickly. In addition, he has other expenses.
