Cancer Medication for My Mom

My mom is a beautiful, caring, vibrant, active, loving, compassionate, healthy mother, step-mother, wife,grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She worked very hard her whole life to take care of my brother, myself and her grandson with the help of her great husband.  She has been running for the last 38 years, winning numerous medals. She swims up to  2 miles a day in the summer. She is always there for her children and grandchildren without thinking twice. She is the core of our family and makes sure we are good honest caring people. In November 2017, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer which has metastasized.  She completed 3 chemotherapy treatments, and 10 radiation treatments in her bone in her leg where cancer spread preventing her from running. The Drs have stopped the chemo treatments because it is not working like they'd hoped. They started her on a new target therapy drug called tagrisso which has great reviews . My mom's insurance will only cover part of the cost leaving my mom to pay 3000$ a month for tagrisso which can save her life. My parents are retired, and on a fixed income.
