Help Julie, grandma to two rambunctious boys, fight stage IV metastatic cervical cancer.
At just 59 years young, Julie was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer. In June of 2023, she started to experience abnormal bleeding followed by severe cramping. After a couple of misdiagnoses, from a bladder infection to thinking it was endometriosis, it was discovered she had large fibroids consuming her uterus. The doctor did a biopsy, resulting in high-grade cancerous cells. After a referral to an oncologist, she went in a few weeks ago for an MRI and PET scan. We got the news that it had spread to two lymph nodes in her pelvis. With that, she is moving forward with radiation and chemotherapy. Treatment will begin shortly and consist of 5 days a week for 5 weeks.
Although she has tried to continue working, the pain and bleeding made it nearly impossible to stand on her feet for hours. So, here she is, out of work, out of money, and physically unable to do what she loves. Disability has yet to be approved, so as of right now, there is no cash flow. We all know she does not need the added financial stress on top of this rather unfortunate circumstance. Medical expenses are already surpassing $7K and will continue to increase in the following months. Rather than her focus being on her health, she has been overwhelmed with how she is going to financially recover. Let’s help ease some of that financial stress by DONATING OR SHARING here so she is able to focus on her fight ahead. Money raised will help cover her medical bills, gas, food, and rent.
Oh! I forgot to mention that amid her diagnosis, her long-term boyfriend broke up with her. So, not only was she left homeless, but also grieving her health and a breakup all in the same few weeks. She is STRONG and shines a light in this world that we need not lose. Let’s remind her of that! Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. No amount is too little or too grand.
Lastly, please share. It’s a gift just as great as donating.
THANK YOU!
