It is with a heavy heart I have to announce this, this way.

On 5/5/2021 we found out that my husband, Steven has Testicular Cancer.

We truly apologize for announcing it to everyone over social media.
We try to keep our personal struggles off Social Media. However, we are in need of financial help.

We tried to call immediate family/friends and tell them in person but as you can probably understand, we are distraught over this and talking about it, with anyone is extremely hard. Let alone trying to keep track with who we've told. So again, we apologize but things are moving fast with the Doctors and we need help now, therefore, we can't wait any longer to announce this.

He will go into surgery to have the testicle removed this Friday May14th.

Luckily Steven has health insurance but it doesn't cover everything. There is a lot of out of pocket costs we will have to pay for before the surgery, possibly will have to pay more if he needs chemo and any other obstacle that'll come our way while fighting this. We also had to take time off work and will need to take off more and we don't have a whole lot of sick time available.

The doctor had Steven get a CT to see if it's spread, there was a small spot on his liver but the doctor isn't concerned and thinks it's benign but we will still need to have further tests just to be sure it's benign. We have not gotten the blood results back, which will tell us what stage of cancer this is and if he will need chemo/radiation.

I really hate having to ask family and friends for donations but this is my husbands health/life and we really need your help.
