Hi, my name is John, and thank you for taking a moment to read my story.

I’m 22 years old, and never thought I’d be writing this in my life. I was a trainee accountant and a passionate football player, but my life has changed drastically in a short time. I began having nocturnal seizures, and soon after, I received the devastating news that I have been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. These health challenges have forced me to pause my work, football, social life and apprenticeship, creating financial strain during an already overwhelming time. Therefore I’m struggling in life - socially, financially and mentally so my overall living status has changed drastically.

Im set to be in hospital over Xmas but I’m still trying to raise funds to help with my overall life, living costs, travelling expenses and raising awareness to these diseases as it’s not so common in young people and how it effects us but also so I can focus on healing without the fear of falling behind. I’m currently taking 30 tablets a day and on chemotherapy to help me restore myself to full health. Most importantly, it will allow me to hold onto my accounting apprenticeship, achieve a dream return to it when I’m healthy again.  I would like to fulfill my purpose on this earth which is help people anyway I can either by spreading positivity or making people smile/happy through my words and content.
