Cancer. It happened to me - a humbling experience

My name is Tatyana Begun. I was a healthy, active, mindfully aware and generally balanced person with a fairly successful career, a mother of two beautiful boys, who are now in college, until one day last April 2021, I got the cancer diagnosis. First, it was stage II, then III, and now it's IV, because of metastatic activity in vital organs.
I have spent the last year "fighting" it as if it was an alien form life living inside me, which it does feel that way many times. Everyone says I am on a cancer journey, and this journey has taken me to places high and low. I went to Mexico for a dendritic vaccine one-month treatment; I went to Sri Lanka for Ayurvedic treatment. I tried high-doze vitamin C, ozone therapy, mindfulness training, meditation, and so much more.
My family has been helping with the funding, but now that the traditional treatment of chemo, radiation and surgery seems to be the only option left, we ran out of money.
I am raising money today for my treatment, but also, I have a dream to open a cancer rehabilitation clinic for those people who are looking for answers, looking for emotional support or just need someone to talk to during this most difficult time in their life. This center will include integrative therapy, psychological support, yoga, meditation and possibly group sessions in the style of AA meetings. It will be located in Hudson Valley New York. This dream could only be realized once I recover myself.
