Our dearest Lacey Mac is in the fight of her life. Rare cancer has taken over her body. As she gears up to take on the challenge of pushing this cancer all the way to remission, we are in her corner, ready to assist her in any way possible.
Lacey is in Stage 4, and her cancer is from a rare gene mutation called HER2. Lacey’s official diagnosis is Malignant tumor of Salivary Gland. This cancer has spread to 11 vertebrae, her pelvis is covered in cancer, scapula, lymph nodes, and her liver has a 13cm mass that continues to grow.
Lacey Mac has been employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield and has worked as a Customer Advocate since the end of February. Unfortunately, she hasn’t been with the company long enough to be eligible for FMLA, short or, long term disability, so she is on an unpaid leave of absence. I’m sure everyone reading this can understand the blow that is to any family and household.
Lacey’s treatment is at MD Anderson in Houston which means she is commuting from East Texas to the big city that is four hours away, and she has a nice little road trip ahead of her.
We, her friends and loved ones, call on you to chip in for the astronomical medical bills, travel expenses, and keeping up with her bills at home that never stop coming that she and her family are hereby afflicted with. For the woman who has shown up for us time and time again, the time has come to show up for her. Please pray, donate, and share this post. Thank you all for your love and support!
All our love. F*ck Cancer!!! Fight on!
