Meet my dear friend, Leonard Lopes. A man among men. This is a man that has a heart of gold, a contagious laugh, and a zest for life. A loving, caring, generous spirit. He is a father of 3 and Grandpa to 2, all of whom are the lights of his life.

Leonard is a hard-working man, a roofer by trade, roofing homes and businesses on the Hawaiian Islands.

Leonard has also recently been diagnosed with bladder and prostate cancer. His treatment began with exploratory surgery in late August. In the coming weeks, he will begin to undergo several MRIs and chemotherapy treatments. His major surgery will be performed in early October. He is facing several months of recovery, leaving him with no income during this time. But, as with all of us, his everyday bills plus the addition of medical payments will continue on.

This is where your generosity comes in... Leonard has never asked for anything from anyone. He is extraordinarily humble; he happily gives expecting nothing in return. So, we are asking for prayers of healing for this amazing man, but also requesting your thoughtful financial support. Any amount that you can possibly spare will help him with his medical expenses and basic living expenses such as rent, food, and transportation to and from his many doctor visits and radiation treatments.

Your prayers, love, and support will mean the world to Leonard, his children, his family and his abundance of friends.
