Hello all! This account is set up to support one of our own, a fellow nurse, Gabby Escandon. She was recently diagnosed with Colon Cancer. Her road to recovery is just beginning and we would all love to come together to help reduce the known financial burdens associated with treatment. Her circumstances are a bit unique. She has been selflessly supporting her mother who was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer a couple years ago. While she continues to be her rock, we want to be a rock that Gabby can lean on through her fight as well. If you know her, you know she’s a phenomenal cook so aside from donations alone, we will host bake sales, bbq plates and other fundraisers until she is burden free of expenses. She will NOT be doing the cooking but we might steal some of her recipes to keep donations hot to raise as much as we can!

Unfortunately, this story takes another turn, her brother has ironically just discovered that he too has cancer! This humble and giving family needs our help even though it is so hard to accept that difficult circumstances like this require us to lean on others and accept help. I know Gabby, what is hers will be theirs so this is a family effort. She will give what she has to her family so this fundraiser is for her and her family. We are one step ahead of her… knowing how giving she is even in her deepest challenges. Thanks so much for any denomination you are able to contribute and or the purchase of goods along the way.
