Cancer is being unkind to our Barb...

Hello all. My name is Lynne West, and I, along with a group of loving Jazz pals, are fundraising to help our friend Barb Nelson.

Barb was recently diagnosed with melanoma cancer. It has spread throughout her system and is being managed aggressively. The good news - she seems to be responding well to the treatments. The bad news - they're expensive. Like really.

Barb's therapy is called hyperthermia, a targeted immunotherapy regime that requires intense and repeated visits to the mainland. The funds will go towards the cost of her treatments as well as holistic remedies to get her through the pain and sickness that the therapy causes.
