I never know where to begin these updates. There are reasons to celebrate (today is Lori's Birthday) and there is frustration, anger, good days, days that kick your butt, and every possible feeling and emotion in between.

On the positive side, Lori has taken a few steps this week and started an aggressive chemotherapy regimen. Fortunately, her roommate (Miss Alberta) has become a good friend and one of her strongest supporters.

On the downside, chemo is kicking her butt, making her feel dizzy, sick and generally all-over horrible. She's been at Hagerstown Healthcare for over three months and it will be a while before that changes, she's missed the holidays and precious time at home with her grandkids.
