Well...We helped her beat Cancer...AND NOW...

(Please don't panic about the fundraising amount, that includes the 11K we already raised for her cancer...We need to bubble wrap her. Seriously.)

We STILL Love Angel!
As many of you know, Angel and Lily rang the BELL at Norris Cotton Cancer center on December 11th. Her journey was harrowing and she made it through despite a lot hurdles (Like her body rejecting the port!)...
Now the Cancer is in remission! We all breathed a sigh of relief and then...
December 16th, Back to DHMC with Carbon Monoxide Poisoning for BOTH of them...

AND THEN...Tuesday, December 23rd, while taking out her recycling she slipped on the ice and broke her humerus... IN HALF! (and fractured her elbow)

She made it through surgery yesterday (Christmas Eve) with some pins and stuff, but has a long road ahead of no work, no shopping, no driving, no weight on that arm - and if any of you have seen how her apartment stairs are, I'm guessing there will not be a lot of going out and about for a while.

And to top it all off...since its the end of the year, guess what happens on January 1st? Her insurcance deductible renews. Yup.

So here we are again...asking for some help. I know it's Christmas and may of you may not even see this ask today. But when you do, if you have anything to spare, please consider a donation to Angel.
In peace, Joie

About Angel...

As many of you know, Angel is exceptional people! She's an amazing single mom to Lily (her mini-me). She loves hiking & biking and going to see live shows - ALL the LIVE SHOWS!! She's quick witted and brings light and laughter to every room she is in. She's someone who has always given her all to others.

Angel has been a dedicated community servant her whole adult life. She administered the LIHEAP Fuel Assistance program in the Upper Valley for years. Worked tirelessly for Granite United Way and now is a case manager for the good folks at HIV/HCV Resource Center, working for folks living with HIV/HepC.

For years she’s been on too many volunteer committees to count. Always aiming to make the Upper Valley a better place for all people! She’s been a dependable, tireless fundraiser for Homeless Outreach, 10 Bricks, WRJ Pride, and The Main Street Museum. She’s never been afraid to ask for help for her fellow community members.
(Ask her about the brand new, free washer & dryer she scored for an
outreach client next time you see her, it’s pretty funny.)

Now it’s our time to help her.

Please consider a donation of whatever makes you comfortable. Every donation, big or small will help ease the financial burden, allowing Angel to focus on what truly matters, her health and healing. Angel has touched so many lives as a dedicated social worker in our community, now it's our turn to show her how much she means to us. If you're unable to contribute financially please consider sharing this campaign and keeping her in your thoughts and send her healing vibes! Thank you for being part of her healing journey with your love, hope and support.

(And on a personal note Angel always walked The Prouty with Team “Cancer Sucks” with the Finley Family. She has ALWAYS been there for us.)

Promise to keep folks up to date on her treatment. She has a long road ahead.
Thanks Everyone! Joie
