Hello my name is Melody Corser,

Three Months ago I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. I'm a Wife, a Mother and a Grandmother of 5. I am living on my Social Security and my medical is Medicare HMO.

I have just received a call from my Hematology office, letting me know that I can finally start my Immuno therapy in 11 days, but the Co-pay cost to me for even one treatment is beyond my financial means. I was informed it would be $1,939.00 for each treatment until my deductible has been met. I've come this far... I know I can beat this. I simply do not have the money for my treatment. The co-payment cost for one treatment is more than my monthly Social Security check.

Asking for help financially is not an easy thing for me to do. So I'm really stepping out of my comfort zone and asking for some help as I would so love to have a chance to try and beat this. I would so love to be around to help others in my situation. And I more than anything would love to be here longer for my sons and my grand children who are the light of my life.

I only have 11 days to gather enough money for my first treatment.  

Anything you could donate would help from a dollar or 5 dollars. Anything you can contribute will be so very much appreciated.  And if you simply cannot donate then that is okay too.  

This is my only site for trying to get help with my cancer treatments.
