Greetings! Can you please consider one-year housing and utilities' financial assistance for Aida, her hubby and their two beautiful dogs Mia and Blue as she undergoes cancer treatment?
In May 2021, an orange-sized tumor was removed from Aida’s brain. Since then she has exhausted her sick and vacation leave from Disney, and she has no income. Her husband has some income from disability. They just sold their home and will be moving out in mid-September. They have no idea where they will be moving to, as the doctor needs to review test results on August 30; afterward, he will recommend treatment in either downtown Orlando or Celebration, depending upon the treatment required. Thus we are asking for one-year housing and utilities' assistance in the amount of $2000 per month, to rent a home for Aida and her husband, her Mom (who will come from Puerto Rico to assist), and their two dogs (a sheep-dog mix mother Mia, and her beautiful blue-eyed two-year-old “puppy” Blue) while Aida undergoes cancer treatment. Also, Aida would love to keep both her dogs with her, but rentals are hesitant to allow two dogs of their size; otherwise, she will have to find new homes for her pets as well. Moreover, since she has no income, it will be extremely difficult to find a rental unless she has funds to cover a one-year lease.
Aida's family and friends are devastated by this sudden illness. We miss her radiant smile, exuberant energy, and heart-warming stories. She is a loving friend, coworker, wife and mother. We hope you can financially assist her for the next year as she battles brain cancer and help alleviate her financial worries. Your prayers are coveted as well.
