Thank you for taking the time to read this. After spending her life taking care of me and many others now I need help from others to help take care of my mother, Carol S. 

My mother was diagnosed with Stage-4 small cell lung cancer in the early part of 2018.  She had just retired months earlier. What should have been the beginning of a relaxing life after a lifetime of working hard turned into her toughest job ever ... FIGHTING CANCER.

Hospital stays, radiation, chemotherapy and endless medications seemed to become the norm. I never realized that she was well past her medical coverage as a retiree until recently she confided in me about her situation. I tried to help as much as I possibly could but her expenses have skyrocketed beyond my imagination. After the shock of hearing your mom has cancer and following her treatment progressions you then get slapped with the reality of the expense. An expense that doesn’t seem to stop climbing.

Im sure others out there that have been in her shoes or in mine knows the extra strain and stress that medical bills put on the individual and family. My mother spent her life being that helping hand, now she is looking for one. Please, any amount would be greatly appreciated along with your prayers.

If we do reach this goal and there is any funds left over we will donate it to others in a similar situation on this site.
