Cancer: Help Anita With Living, Medical Expenses

Hi, this is Andrea Billups and I'm fundraising on behalf of my sweet friend Anita Hleibchuk. We never know what life will hand us, but Anita got the shock of her life a couple of months ago with a scary cancer diagnosis.

 

In early September, Anita who was a very active person who loved to hike the mountains, forests and wilds of Washington State, got some awful health news. She started feeling bad and was rushed to hospital because she was having trouble breathing and was bleeding. Once at the hospital, doctors found a mass in her abdomen, which turned out to be stage 4 endometrial cancer. She had an immediate total hysterectomy to remove the mass and is now going thru chemotherapy. This takes up a lot of time, getting to treatments and following up with doctor visits.

 

Anita, who has little other financial support, hopes to be going back to work part-time soon. But in between, she is facing continued medical appointments and is not able to work her typical schedule as she did when she was healthy. She is in need of our contributions to help her get through the next couple of months and not have to worry while she focuses on her health.

 

This GoFundMe fundraiser will go a long way to paying on her outstanding medical bills that aren’t covered by her insurance or the hospital. And for her basic living expenses until she is healed enough to return to work full time. Her chemo treatments are now scheduled through the end of January. Your contributions will be a bridge for her until these are completed and she is back feeling stronger and working at 100 percent.

 

Anita, an artist with a gentle spirit and great compassion, has always been generous to her friends and family. I suggested this fundraiser to help her out and she finally agreed as her need is increasing. She should not have to worry about money as she braves this battle.
