We all love our Bronwyn very much and she brings joy into the lives of everyone she touches.
She is a loving mother to two girls, a wife, a daughter, and a dear friend. This is the second time cancer has touched Bronwyn's life, heaping injustice on top of injustice. She is an all-loving friend, always ready to support those around her, and bring laughter at the same time.
Thankfully, we all have the power to do something and make a difference for her. My name is Imelda and I am pleased to organize this campaign on behalf of Bronwyn.
As some of you may already know, she was recently diagnosed with Myopethelial Carcinoma, a rare cancerous tumor on her spine. So many things are still unknown. Right now, Barry and Bronwyn are looking at flying to Houston which is home to the #1 Cancer Centre in the US and quite possibly the world to get the best treatment. Doctors confirm that what she has is extremely rare, many top oncologists would go through their whole careers without ever seeing it. One of the recommended courses of treatment is surgery, an expensive proposition, and they are speaking to a surgeon who can possibly take the case on. It will be a difficult, long and expensive journey for her and her family.
The burdens of living through cancer are hard enough let alone dealing with the stress of financial concerns. Cancer is never fair, it's a scourge. It's particularly unfair when it strikes someone close to you.
How can we help
Our goal is to allow Bronwyn to focus on her cancer treatment and alleviate the worry of expenses flying out to Houston, along with other expenses of medical bills and associated expenses. Contributing to this fund in the next few months will help Barry and Bronwyn focus on the treatment and getting well.
Bronwyn is going to fight this with all she's got -- and we're asking for your help. Please donate with any amount you can.
