On October 8th, I went to the hospital with what was then a right flank pain, with a tachycardia heart. I was then diagnosed with 2 blood clots, one on each lung. Dr's then ran further test on my body to determine why I was having these blood clots. It was then when I was given the most impressive news I could have ever received. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cancer. It took me by surprise and it took my family by surprise. I was then given a treatment plan that had to be followed right away as my life was seriously in danger due to the blood clots. I started chemotherapy on Wednesday, September 13th up until September 16th which was the last of the first cycle. I ask that everyone pray for not only my health, but for my family who has taken this news the hardest. I know I have a long road to recovery ahead of me, but I have complete faith in God that I will win! We will win!
Well here we are again to resume my Chemotherapy. Doctor's have opted to add additional Chemos due to how well my body responded to the first round of Chemo. I feel strong, and I feel very optimistic about my treatment plan. Doctor's continue to give me hope of survival. I will continue to fight until the day I stop breathing which I hope and pray is until I am an old man. With God by my side I know I will win. Thanks to everyone who has sent their messages, phone calls, videos, etc showing their support. I didn't know I had this wonderful circle of family cause that is how I see my friends. I see them as family as we are here to take care of one another. May God continue to bless each and every one of you and have a wonderful blessed day everyone!
Day number 2 of Chemo is in the bag. I feel great and I feel strong. I can thank God for giving me the strength to take this treatment. I can thank each and every one of you for your strength and your prayers. You guys are awesome! I want to thank my wife Diana Franco for being my pillar and being my support. Without you I would feel weak and vulnerable. I want to thank my family for stepping up to help with one thing or another. It really takes a village to get through. God bless everyone!
Day Number 3 of Chemo is done. Today was a rough day. I've slept most of the day. I still managed to eat and keep things down today. It's been a long week already and I am only looking forward to getting this cycle done already. In the picture I just uploaded you will notice a major change in my physical. It was only a matter of time, but I've always liked having really short hair. Once all this is set and done. I know my hair will grow right back. Thanks everyone for the love and support. God bless!
PS. I was told by my Doctor's that the next two rounds of Chemo will be very tough so I need all the prayers I can get. So keep those prayers coming.
Today, October 24th, 2023, I have begun what is considered the 3rd cycle of my Chemotherapy. I am being told that the regime I am undergoing is different than others. I am being told they are very aggressive on attacking this Cáncer and are hopeful I can still live a Cáncer free life in the future. However, in order to get to that spot I have to first go through these chemos and hopefully end up having surgery to successfully remove the tumor.
I ask you the reader to please consider donating to this cause as I am incurring many financial charges due to this treatment. I am currently on FMLA from work and don't receive any form of income when on leave. Any amount is great, and I will surely appreciate this very fine gesture from you
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and God bless you and your family!
