Cancer Fund for Jamie Webb

A about a month ago, my sweet dad was diagnosed with cancer. This summer has been a rough experience for him. It saddens me to say that this is just the beginning of a long road to recovery. Around the beginning of the summer he started experiencing problems with his body that seemed out of the norm.  He has always had back problems but it has recently gotten so bad that he decided to look into get it fixed.  During the many appointments to schedule back surgery they found images in his CT scans that indicated he had multiple tumors and cancer in his spine.  Several months and 6 or 7 doctors later, he was finally given results to a biopsy on Austust 20th.  Although his biopsy was incomplete (it sounds like they didn't have a big enough sample size), they are pretty sure he has sarcoma.  He has a large tumor on the artery connected to his kidney, another tumor in his upper chest and cancer in his spine that appears to be deteriorating the bone. He was referred to a transplant doctor up in Murray, UT and will have surgery on the 22nd of September. The surgeon will be removing the biggest tumor along with the kidney it is connected to. Afterwards he will stay at the hospital to be monitored for 4 to 6 days and then finally sent back to St. George, Utah to treat the remainder of his cancer with chemotherapy and radiation. After all of this he will finally be able to get his back fixed. He hasn't been able to work for 2 months now due to immobility from his back problems. He has been in a lot of pain and has struggled with being stuck home everyday. It has totally broken our hearts to see him hurting so badly while we can't do anything to comfort him.  For those of you who know my dad, you know he is not the type to ask for help. I wanted to create this to get him as much help as possible. He would be so embarrassed if he knew I created a Go Fund Me so I would really appreciate it if you could keep the donation part a secret until I give it to him (he doesn't have facebook)!
