Cancer Fighting Fundraiser for Tracey Maschke

As the pandemic marches on, Cancer does not take a holiday. Tracey has spent the last year grateful to have her family healthy and safe. She was ecstatic to find out that, at the age of 53, she would become a grandmother this summer! Unfortunately, this year has also brought the news that Tracey has metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her bones and likely her liver.
Tracey’s cancer is incurable. But her doctors have established an intensive treatment plan and Tracey intends to fight. Tracey is the kind of person who is always ready to lend a hand to others and would never ask for help in return. As her friends and family we are devastated by this news and will do everything we can to help so that she can keep smiling that beautiful smile as she fights this battle.
Tracey is happy, ubeat, and the life of the party. You know that when you are spending the evening with Tracey you will end it with a few new smile lines and a belly sore from laughing.
The most important part of Tracey’s life is being a mother to her two boys Tyler and Travis. A mother at her core, Tracey also mothers the rest of us lucky enough to be in her world.
Tracey grew up as the second of 4 Menard sisters in Pembroke and now lives in Eganville with her husband Jeff of thirty years. She is loved deeply by her friends, family, and all the kids she has made laugh on her school bus in the last 24 years.
The money raised in this GoFundMe will be used to ease the financial burden as she takes time off of work. It will also be used to pay for treatments not covered through OHIP as well as other costs associated with her medical care. A donation in any amount is appreciated.
