Cancer Fighter and 4 Sisters' Mother Killed

My name is Patrick James, and I am Kalisca's uncle and the great uncle of the 5 girls pictured. Many have asked if there was some way they could help my parents, Ruthie and Richard Washington during this very difficult time. With their permission, I have organized this page for financial assistance. Ruthie and Richard's granddaughter Kalisca Williams, was killed in her home by a stray bullet on 1/21/20. Kalisca has five daughters, under the age of 8, one of which is battling ADV Stage 4 lung and kidney cancer. Heaven goes to chemo once a week and has just finished 8 rounds of radiation. Heaven and her four sisters are in the permanent care of their great grandparents, Ruthie and Richard. Ruthie and Richard suffered the unexpected loss of Kalisca's mother, Nikki Riley, less than three years ago, due to health reasons. To say they have been hit hard over the last couple of years, is an understatement. Raising five girls is hard enough, but raising five girls who have lost their grandmother and mother in less than three years, adds many other challenges. Add to that the daily, weekly care of a child with stage 4 cancer. Heaven also has a twin sister who has had continuous testing to ensure that she doesn't have cancer as well.
