Cancer: effective alternative therapy for Veerle

Please help our friend Veerle to return to the clinic that is helping to manage her cancer.
Our dear friend Veerle is an enthusiastic and talented choir singer, she also excels at playing the flute. She studied herbal medicine and has followed many courses on mental health.
She is, above all, a warm, compassionate, kind, loyal and trustworthy friend.
You can imagine how devastating it was to receive the news in May 2018 that she had breast cancer and metastases of the liver, both of which are extremely dangerous conditions.
She is undertaking a conventional hormone therapy in a Belgian clinic, but the doctors have not been very optimistic for success. But Veerle wouldn’t be Veerle if she would be beaten by this prognosis. No way!
She did a lot of research, followed her heart and this led her to a clinic in Germany called Arcadia.
Arcadia provides top care and excellent treatment without the side effects that often accompany conventional cancer treatments. Unfortunately, these treatments are very expensive and are not covered by Veerle’s healthcare insurance.
Luckily Veerle was able to save money and received many gifts of support from her friends. Thanks to this, she went to the clinic for treatment several times between June 2018 and April 2019.
Right from the beginning she had rigorous medical assessments and undertook challenging yet effective treatments.
After only three weeks the cancer cells had already diminished in her liver and her immune system was busy repairing itself.
During the 11 months she was able to go there regularly the tumour marker decreased from 3,800 to 24, an occurance that oncologists have described as spectacular.
There is no shadow of a doubt that it is the treatment Veerle received at the Arcadia clinic that turned the prognosis around.
Unfortunately, since June 2019, the tumour marker has started to increase again.
She was able to return to the clinic once in November 2019, but has not been able to go back since.
In the meantime, she continues the hormone therapy monitored by the oncologist in Belgium, and also treatments with an orthomolecular doctor. She also takes a whole range of supplements and medicines, and manages a strict diet to help control the spread of the cancer. All this already costs a lot and Veerle has almost used up all her savings.
We are now in May 2020 and Veerle is feeling OK.
But, because of the extremely expensive fees, Veerle has been unable to return to Arcadia clinic and the tumour marker continues to increase. Since January 2020 it has doubled…
This means that metastases are developing.
Veerle needs to continue her treatment at the Arcadia clinic so her markers can reduce again.
She is supported by countless friends around the world to help her and we hope to raise more money so that she can go to the clinic again as soon as the coronavirus situation makes it possible.
