Cancer doesn’t make the bills stop unfortunately

In the words of Carl Johnson from Groove Street “Aw shit here we go again!” After eight years in remission I, Tatiana Marion, have a reoccurrence of a rare form of cancer known as small cell ovarian cancer.
Back in March of this year I was just settling into my first solo apartment, living my best life and truly beginning to thrive when I felt an all too familiar feeling. After two trips to the ER it was determined I had a tumor that needed to be removed. Two days later I had surgery and less than a week after that I began chemo. Recovery from surgery and chemo didn’t go so well and I ended up back in the hospital for two more weeks. As I struggled with healing the medical bills just kept adding up. As well as rent, utilities, internet and cell phone bills still being due. I’ve attempted to apply for unemployment and short term disability with no luck. I’m in the process of applying to some grants but those don’t offer much. I struggle to ask for help, I get it from my dad, in this moment losing my apartment is a giant fear of mine, so I am asking for and accepting any and all help. Thank you.
